The year 1982. Before the widespread use of air-conditioning in India. Vikas Group recognizes the potential for automotive air-conditioning and enters into a 50:50 joint venture with Japan’s Sanden Corporation to establish production facilities in India. Setting up a cutting edge manufacturing plant in the industrial town of Faridabad, Haryana, the company earns the distinction of being the pioneer OE supplier of A/C systems in india.

All quality control and training functions are conducted under the strict vigil of expert Japanese Engineers. Following latest quality enhancement techniques like TQM and TPM, SVL is certified for all relevant international quality standards including ISO/TS 16949 and the Environmental Standard ISO 14001: 2004. All SVL suppliers are ISO/TS16949 accredited and the company has set a minimum criterion of ISO 9001 for all its vendors.

SVL’s state-of-the-art Design Centre with full-fledged CAD/CAE facilities supported by latest software like UniGraphics, Catia V5, Pro-E and Ansys, designs and develops products that cater to meet the diverse need of the customers as per local climatic conditions.
